Critical thinking MMI questions ask you to work through a problem that has incomplete information, competing priorities, or two defensible sides, and to reason your way to a position out loud. They appear in most Australian MMIs because universities want evidence that candidates can think in a structured, flexible way, a skill doctors rely on constantly when facing uncertain clinical situations.
